A fine deco style diamond and synthetic sapphire cocktail ring. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1985, this exceptional ring is nearly 40 years old. Modelled in solid 18ct gold the piece weighs a luxurious 6.4g and has a beautiful presence on the hand.
The centre stone is a large cushion cut synthetic sapphire of approximately 4.10ct in weight. Its vibrant royal blue colour showing through as its hand cut facets catch the light. The sapphire is framed by stepped marquise shaped bands of diamonds, which mimic the knife edge shank. Totalling an estimated 0.70ct, the natural diamonds are of the highest quality, estimated as E/F colour and VS+ clarity, free from any noticeable wear or damage.
