A true passion project. The incredible 3.57ct sapphire set in this piece came to us originally in another, however the setting was poorly considered, and its sister stones were worn and chipped. We just couldn’t leave this special stone in such a sad mount and so set about the long task of re-designing it.
Such a special stone deserved to stand out and we chose to set it into a heavy 18ct gold signet style setting that really accentuates and protects it when worn. The unique faceting style of the sapphire meant the piece was entirely bespoke made around it and we love the result.
Please note that as the sapphire is reclaimed there are a few very small nibbles to the table facets, but these we believe tell its story wonderfully and do nothing to detract from its beauty.
